How The Economy Affects Kids

The effects of the economy not only affect parents, but children have a hard time too. Parents are often having to cut back on activities that normally would take place on a regular basis in the family. As a result of the economy, parents are finding that sports and clubs that their children participate in have to be held off for a while until the finances can allow for extra spending again.
So, this can really be hard on the kids. Especially if it is an activity or project that they really care about. So what can parents do about it? Well, there are a number of things that they can do. Besides limiting the number of activities that the child is involved in, what I encourage parents to do to keep a child busy is to build a family website. A family website is a great way to generate extra income that can fund the extra activities that the children have going on.
So many families are finding success in working from home by building a family online business. I've shown a number of parents how to do it. Be sure to refer to the HobbyBiz section of this blog. There will be many tools and resources to help you and your family be on your way to solving the "no extra money" dilemma.
Websites built based on topics the family adores are great. Pets are common topics for families. Many create a website on their dog and share their knowledge about how they care for their pet; grooming, feeding, etc. This is a wonderful way to get the whole family involved and generate a nice cash flow at the same time!
I have a "Tween" daughter and a teenage son. My daughter is heavily into fashion so she is going to
share her drawings of the clothes she designs and the little trinkets and jewelry she makes. My son, Brandon is an artist. He is working on a cartoon that he'd like to share with the world.
The great thing about it is that the entire family takes part and the children get to "journal write" and they will have loads of fun doing it!
